Before establishing our company, our founder, Richard Fitzpatrick, was deeply immersed in the agricultural sector. He managed several businesses within the industry, including founding a successful slurry equipment company in 1994. His lifelong passion for farming and eagerness for engineering innovation laid the foundation for our company’s innovative journey.

Our company was established in 2013 in Australia by Richard Fitzpatrick, a lifelong farmer with engineering expertise in slurry equipment. Driven by a deep-rooted passion for innovation, we developed and manufactured our first slurry machines in Australia. These high-quality machines quickly gained popularity, successfully selling to dairy farmers and contractors in both Australia and New Zealand. 

In 2014, we expanded our operations to New Zealand, solidifying our presence in the region and continuing to develop our product line. By working directly with farmers and contractors, we gained invaluable experience. This hands-on approach allowed us to focus on enhancing efficiencies and improving outputs, ensuring our products met the needs of our customers. Our team learned a lot of new things and educated themselves by working in New Zealand, broadening their knowledge and expertise in the field. 

We secured the exclusive agency for Jakob Eschbach hose in the UK and Irish markets, significantly enhancing our product portfolio with this market-leading hose. Jakob Eschbach, a renowned German manufacturer, offers top-quality lay flat hoses known for their durability and reliability. This partnership allows us to provide our customers with a long-lasting product, backed by excellent warranty and customer service. By integrating Jakob Eschbach’s high-quality hoses, we continue to strengthen our commitment to delivering the best slurry management solutions in the UK and Irish markets.

In 2016, we expanded our manufacturing capabilities by setting up our dedicated site in Northern Ireland, outside Downpatrick in County Down, Northern Ireland, which now serves as our headquarters. 

In 2017, following extensive research and development, we launched the market’s most aggressive cutting macerator, the Slurryquip Xiphos. Equipped with Hardox® serrated blades, these macerators are engineered to handle a diverse range of materials, ensuring efficient chopping. Their durable construction and advanced blade technology provide exceptional performance, making them perfect for dealing with baled silage, thick slurry, and other challenging materials.

In 2018, we introduced our PTO compressor, this powerful compressor is more than capable of blowing out umbilical supply hoses and is also ideal for blowing down machines and other equipment.

In 2019, we introduced our range of tanker dribble bars. Our dribble bars featured 50mm outlet pipes to minimize blockages and a more aggressive cutting macerator for enhanced performance. Additionally, they are chassis-mounted for better weight distribution, providing superior drawbar weight compared to other machines on the market.

In 2020, we introduced the patented steering reeler, a groundbreaking innovation that revolutionizes the handling and deployment of lay flat hose. This advanced reeler provides unmatched precision and ease of use, significantly improving operational efficiency.

That same year, we also launched the patented Cerberus Tanker with a front-mounted applicator. The first of its kind on the market, the Cerberus Tankers innovative design makes using a tanker safer, easier, and more agile on hilly and uneven terrain.

In 2021, in response to the expansion of our product range and the growth of emerging markets, we invested significantly in enhancing our manufacturing capabilities. This investment included the acquisition of an additional Trumpf laser cutter, another water jet, and more Yaskawa robotic welders. These advanced tools not only increased our manufacturing capacity but also improved our operational efficiency, allowing us to produce high-quality products more quickly and accurately. Alongside these technological advancements, we expanded our team to over 40 staff members, further bolstering our ability to meet rising demand and maintain our commitment to excellence in all aspects of our operations. 

In 2022, we formed a partnership with German manufacturer Börger to offer their range of mobile and static separators to our customers and dealers. These separators provide numerous benefits, including the production of green bedding, increased storage capacity, removal of fibres, and overall improvement in slurry quality.

In 2023, we formed a strategic partnership with Veneroni, an Italian pump manufacturer, to serve as their distributors for the UK and Ireland. Since September 2023, Slurryquip has been rigorously testing the RKT Chopper Pump, and the results have been very impressive. The double-chopping mechanism has been designed to outperform anything currently on the market when working with thicker slurry. This partnership and our ongoing testing efforts underscore our commitment to bringing cutting-edge solutions to our customers.

In 2024, we brought our new 24-meter dribble bar to market, this came with Automated Flow Balancing: The fully automated system balances the flow between macerators, maintaining uniform slurry distribution across the entire width for consistent application. Adjustable Ground Clearance: Offers up to 3 meters of ground clearance on each side, making it adaptable to various terrains and crop heights, ensuring precise slurry placement without damaging crops.
